How to Resolve Missing Audio on Wireless Casting in Windows 11

1. If applicable, discontinue any current casting session (use the Windows Key + K to open the casting menu and click Disconnect).

2. Open the Windows start menu and search for Dolby Access. Launch the program.

3. Navigate to More Settings and under Dolby Atmos effects for speakers and headphones, click the slider so that the value is changed to No.

4. Restart the casting session by using Windows Key + K and selecting the desired casting device.

5. Once connected, ensure the correct audio device is selected by opening the taskbar's device menu and clicking Select a sound output. Then, select Digital Output with the name of the target casting device.

Media with audio should now work correctly over wireless casting.
