Using ilos Lecture and Screen Capture
Summary:
As we move ahead in the Information Age, many professors have realized the potential of video as a component of their courses. I have worked with many of you this past quarter to acquire screen-capture software and recording/lecture-capture solutions for the classroom.
In researching screen-casting and lecture-capture solutions, I discovered a platform called ilos. ilos is a simple way for faculty to create quick video content.
ilos is currently working with Faculty at UC Berkeley, Lake Superior College, and the University of St. Thomas, where they’ve had over a 30% institutional adoption, and recently won the Under the Ed Radar Pitch Competition at the annual EDUCAUSE Conference.
