Downtime Notice – MSOE IT has the following planned maintenance schedule. During this time, the following network resources or applications may be unavailable during the listed times. Please make note of this schedule and plan around it. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Aug 12th – 25Live Maintenance
Software updates to campus network firewalls.
Time: 12pm - 9pm
Location: https://rooms.msoe.edu
Impact: CollegeNet will be performing maintenance on Saturday, August 12th, starting at 12pm CDT. During this time, no Series25 tools will be available, including 25Live, Series25 LYNX Interface, 25Live Reports, 25Live Publisher, and Schedule25 Optimizer. The outage is expected to last 9 hours.
Aug 3rd - 4th – Network Firewall Updates
Software updates to campus network firewalls.
Time: Evenings
Location: Campus-wide
Impact: No impact expected except brief interruption of AnyConnect VPN connections in the evenings. You may need to reconnect.
Unplanned Outage – Jabber UNRESOLVED
The Jabber calling app for mobile devices and laptops is not working. Software hosted on a local server has failed, and repair of this issue is requiring Cisco tech support.
Start: We became aware of the issue early July.
Fix ETA: Unknown, waiting solution from Cisco with open ticket
Location: Campus-wide, off-campus and on-campus
