Downtime Notice – MSOE IT has the following planned maintenance schedule. During this time, the following network resources or applications may be unavailable during the listed times. Please make note of this schedule and plan around it. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Sunday July 23rd – Network Maintenance
Software updates to WiFi infrastructure.
Time: 9am - Noon
Location: Campus-wide
Impact: We expect multiple brief (10 min) outages during the maintenance window. During an outage, your laptop will lose connection to the MSOE WiFi network. It may be helpful to reboot the computer, or turn off/on WiFi to refresh the connection.
Unplanned Outage – Jabber UNRESOLVED
The Jabber calling app for mobile devices and laptops is not working. Software hosted on a local server has failed, and repair of this issue is requiring Cisco tech support.
Start: We became aware of the issue early July.
Fix ETA: Unknown, waiting solution from Cisco with open ticket
Location: Campus-wide, off-campus and on-campus

Impact: We expect multiple brief (5 min) outages during the maintenance window. During an outage, your laptop will lose connection to the MSOE WiFi network. It may be helpful to reboot the computer, or turn off/on WiFi to refresh the connection.
If you encounter any issues outside of the listed maintenance window, please report it to the IT Helpdesk for assistance.
