Downtime Notice – MSOE IT has the following planned maintenance schedule. During this time, the following network resources or applications may be unavailable during the listed times. Please make note of this schedule and plan around it. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Monday December 19th – Network Maintenance
Time: Morning
Location: Viets Tower 1st and 2nd floors
Impact: We expect about a 45 minute network outage during this time.
Monday December 19th – Jenzabar 1 Desktop Upgrade
Time: 5pm-10pm
Impact: Jenzabar 1 Desktop, MyMSOE, MyFinancialAid, PowerFAIDS, Resources
Tuesday December 20th – Network Maintenance
Time: 5pm - 10pm
Location: Campus-wide
Impact: We expect multiple brief network outages campus-wide, including brief Internet outages.
Monday December 26th - Network Maintenance
Upgrades to network firewall to improve security and reliability.
Time: 10am - 3pm
Impact:
We expect brief Internet outages for those on-campus and the inability to access on-campus resources from off-campus for brief and sporadic periods of time. GlobalProtect VPN connections will be either disconnected or unavailable for periods of time.
Tuesday December 27th - Network Maintenance
Upgrades to network core routers.
Time: 10am - 3pm
Impact:
We expect brief network outages for multiple periods of time impacting different buildings across campus.
If you encounter any issues outside of the listed maintenance window, please report it to the IT Helpdesk for assistance.
