Downtime Notice – MSOE
IT has the following planned maintenance schedule. During this time,
the following network resources or applications may be unavailable
during the listed times. Please make note of this schedule and plan
around it. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
July 22, 2021 - Planned Maintenance - Network Maintenance
Work being done on network
equipment in Viets Tower that effects downstream buildings.
Start time: starting late morning lasting less than 2 hours
End time: TBD
Impact: Network downtime. This will effect both phone and computer networks including WiFi.
Location: RSOB, MLH, Regents
July 21-23, 2021 - Planned Maintenance – WiFi Upgrades
Wifi access points are being
upgraded to a new server.
Time: Non-business hours – both before 8am and after 5pm
Impact: Wifi outage for no more than 20 minutes. Wired network connections can be used as a workaround since the wired network will not be impacted.
Location: Entire campus will be impacted one building at a time over the course of these days.
July 20, 2021 - Planned Upgrade - Jenzabar Upgrade
Start time: 5:00 pm
End time: Midnight
On Tuesday July 20th IT is upgrading the Jenzabar EX desktop client to the new Jenzabar J1 desktop client. The upgrade will start at 5pm and hopefully complete no later than midnight. Over the last couple months IT, Admissions, Registrars office, Student Financial Services, and HR have been testing J1 to ensure the transition to the new desktop client goes smooth.
For most Jenzabar users the biggest change will be the new logo and any shortcuts to login into Jenzabar will need to be recreated. Upon login after the upgrade is complete Jenzabar users will need to look for the new J1 desktop client under Start -> MSOE Jenzabar Apps (RADC) -> Jenzabar One Desktop
